Accessibility statement

Southwestern Educational Society is committed to ensuring that its website is accessible to people with disabilities, as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act.

Conformance status

This website is designed to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. It is built with semantic HTML, works with keyboard navigation and screen readers, keeps a minimum 4.5:1 color contrast for text, respects the operating system’s reduced-motion setting, and lets you pause moving content.

The site is partially conformant: some content does not yet fully conform, as described below.

Known limitations

  • Some documents (book and material lists, the welcome package, policies and letters) are published as PDF files that may not be tagged for screen readers, and some flyers and banners are images that contain text. We provide the same information in an accessible format on request.
  • Third-party services linked or embedded on this site (Gradelink, Hot Lunch, PayPal, Google Maps, Office 365, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube) are not under our control and may not meet the same standard.
